Boniva : Important Information

• This medication may cause serious stomach and esophagus (the tube that connects your mouth and stomach) problems including heartburn, ulcer, or trouble swallowing. Take exactly as prescribed in order to lower the chance of serious side effects.

• Your doctor may want you to have blood tests or other medical evaluations during treatment to monitor progress and side effects.
• Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

Miss a dose: Problems?

If you forget to take your dose in the morning, do not take it later in the day. Just return to your normal schedule and take 1 tablet the next morning. Do not take two tablets on the same day.
